Tankard in hand, tales by the fire
The Seven Tankards Inn

Where generals push the door after battle, set the helm on the table and tell — warm pint in hand — their exploits, routs, and the strokes of fortune that tipped the war.

🍺
The fire still smoulders

The tankards are clean, the benches empty

No tale has yet been laid on the counter. The innkeeper polishes glasses and lends an ear — the first battle of the Old World awaits its teller.

Enrolled generals may publish their tales after each Skirmish. The most-read stories rise to the top of the book.

What is Hammerpint? +
Hammerpint is a digital companion for rank-and-file fantasy miniatures players. It manages your army lists, organises your matches, and keeps a registry of your campaigns. Independent community project — no commercial affiliation.
Do I need a physical game to use the Registry? +
Not at all. The Army Book and Skirmish mode play entirely online, on our rules system inspired by the classic rank-and-file tabletop games. If you come from a physical game, the feel will be familiar.
How much does Hammerpint cost? +
The Army Book is free forever — compose, save, print, no account required. Campaign mode (persistent armies, progression, grudges, reputation) requires a subscription at €10/month (first month free). The free tier also allows 3 skirmishes per month. No ads, no micro-transactions, no pay-to-win.
Can I play online against other generals? +
Yes. Skirmish handles matchmaking, scenario selection, and turn-by-turn battle resolution — animated dice, phase tracking, Chronicler commentary. Everything happens on our platform, no physical table needed.
Which factions are supported? +
Thirteen factions at launch, each with its own Hammerpint name: Imperial Provinces, Dwarven Citadels, Silver Courts, Duchy of the Lady, Forest Clans, Greenskin Hordes, Ruinbearers, Horned Packs, Eternal Dynasties, Lords of the Night, Vermin of the Deep, Jade Throne, Primordial Guardians. Full rules per faction are visible in the Army Book.
Is my data safe? +
Your lists, campaign stats and personal account are stored on servers hosted in France. We do not sell any data. You can export your lists as JSON or delete your account at any time from your Settings.
Can I rename units and factions? +
Yes — a "naming pack" you can upload from your Settings replaces the IP-clean Hammerpint names with names from your favourite setting. The pack stays in your browser, we never see it.
