Terms of Use

Hammerpint is a fantasy battle game running in your browser, currently in private alpha (“early access”). The service includes a free online army book, a public devblog, and (soon) online battles and a persistent campaign mode (waitlist access).

Hammerpint is an independent community project, not affiliated with any existing tabletop-game publisher.

Some features require creating an account via Google (OAuth). You warrant that the information provided is accurate.

Alpha access is subject to waitlist enrolment and manual activation by the publisher. The publisher reserves the right to accept or reject any registration without justification.

You agree to:

• not use bots, cheats, or techniques bypassing normal gameplay;
• not harass, insult, or threaten other players in chats, chronicles, or any service channel;
• not choose a username contrary to public order or decency;
• not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the server code or network protocol;
• not publish content (username, army name, message) infringing third parties' rights or intellectual property.

Source code, text, illustrations, and all site content are the property of the publisher unless otherwise stated. Any unauthorized reproduction or reuse is prohibited.

User-generated content (army lists, unit names, chronicles) remains the property of the user, who grants the publisher a non-exclusive licence to display it within the service.

Hammerpint is under active development. The service may be unavailable, interrupted, or reset at any time for technical or design reasons. Persistent armies are saved on a best-effort basis; no persistence guarantee is given during the alpha.

The publisher may modify the game rules, the interface, access conditions, and these terms at any time.

The publisher reserves the right to suspend or terminate an account for breach of these terms, in particular for cheating, harassment, or inappropriate content. Users may request account deletion at any time by emailing [email protected].

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the publisher shall not be liable for indirect damages (data loss, loss of play time, service interruption) arising from use of the service. The service is provided “as is”, without express or implied warranty.

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance falls within the exclusive jurisdiction of French courts, subject to applicable mandatory rules.
